I keep hearing people talk, more like complain, about so many women deciding to go natural. The discussion is happening between natural amd relaxed women alike and even men. I’m just generally confused. If it’s a trend, so what? What other “trend” that you know encourages more than one ideal image and embraces multiple images? What other “trend” encourages women to embrace their natural look and find the beauty in it? And most importantly, what other “trend” does this for, and is targeted at, black women? If this is a trend, that is going to come and go like Cassie’s minute and a half long singing career, KEEP THEM COMING. We need more trends, fads, and fashions that encourage self love. I say all this…. but ultimately have one final question . For all those that are so infinitely pressed ( no pun intended) about the situation of another’s scalp: Why you mad?
